COVID-19 Museum Health & Safety 

The Taft will continue to share updates on COVID-19 to inform our staff, volunteers, and visitors of effects on museum operations and safety on this page. 

Review Our Health and Safety Protocols Before Visiting

The Taft Museum of Art does not require guests to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test at admissions. Masking is optional for our staff, volunteers, and visitors. Discover how you can ensure a safe visit for you and others and how the Taft is continuing our commitment to community wellness below. 

All tickets include timed entry. Advance reservations are recommended.

Ensure a Safe Visit for You and Others

If planning a visit to the Taft, please review these policies in alignment with current wellness guidelines and the unique needs of the museum as we continue to keep the health and safety of our guests our top priority: 

We Ask You to:

  • Familiarize yourself with  COVID-19 symptoms and do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19. For the most up-to-date guidelines, visit the CDC's website. 
  • Register for admission online in advance with our contactless systems and prepare for your visit with our online visitor guides.  
  • Masks are optional. Offensive imagery on masks will not be permitted.   
  • Wash your hands frequently and utilize hand sanitizer (stations can be found throughout our facility).  

The Taft Museum of Art Will:

  • Adhere to the Taft Museum of Art's Exposure Response Policy.  
  • Continue enhanced cleaning protocols for all museum spaces. 
  • Provide sanitation stations throughout our facilities.  
  • Masks are optional. Offensive imagery on masks will not be permitted.
