COVID-19 Museum Health & Safety 

The Taft will continue to share updates on COVID-19 to inform our staff, volunteers, and visitors of effects to Museum operations and safety on this page. 

 

Please review our updated health and safety protocols before visiting.

We stress that plans are subject to change as we need to be flexible and attentive in this unique situation and put the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors first. We continue to urge all of you to take this health threat seriously and to play your part in keeping yourself, your loved ones and our many different communities as healthy and safe as possible.

Ensure a Safe Visit for You and Others

The Taft continues our commitment to community wellness. If planning a visit to the Taft, please review these policies in alignment with current CDC guidelines and the unique needs of the Taft Museum of Art as we continue to keep the health and safety of our guests our top priority: 

We Ask You to:

  • Familiarize yourself with COVID-19 symptoms  and do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19. 
  • Purchase admission tickets online in advance with our contactless systems. 
  • Prepare for your visit with our online visitor guides
  • Masks are required indoors for all regardless of vaccination status. Offensive imagery will not be permitted. 
  • Please keep your distance from our team members and others who are not in your party.
  • Wash your hands frequently and utilize hand sanitizer (stations can be found throughout our facility). 

The Taft Museum of Art Will:

  • Continue enhanced cleaning protocols for all museum spaces.
  • Masks are required indoors for all regardless of vaccination status. Offensive imagery will not be permitted. 
  • Provide sanitation stations throughout our facilities. 
  • Offer digital-only visitor guides
  • Admission staff will be behind plexiglass barriers as extra protection. 
  • Continue service for the Lindner Family Café outdoors only with table spacing.

Join us under the garden tent to indulge in a refreshed menu where there’s something for every taste. Enjoy inspired food options, plus wine, beer, and specialty cocktails. Our historic garden is an amazing spot to unwind and dine on artfully prepared meals, including delicious vegetarian and vegan options too. Members enjoy a 10% discount.  Learn more.
