Opening Night and Signature Talk
Thursday, June 11 | 4–7 p.m.
Celebrate the opening of The Scandinavian Home: Landscape and Lore at the Taft!
Member Exhibition Preview | 4-5:30 p.m.
Members are invited to indulge in a special, early access preview including light bites and drinks available for purchase, coupled with one complimentary drink ticket per member. Please note: we are a cashless museum. The Scandinavian Home exhibition doors open at 4 p.m. to members.
Public Preview | 5:30-7 p.m.
Non-members can preview the exhibition starting at 5:30 p.m.!
Signature Talk | 6-7 p.m.
Listen to The Scandinavian Home art collector, David Werner, in a detailed talk about the exhibition! Open to members and the public. Seating for the talk is available on a first-come first-served basis. Doors will open to members at 5:30 p.m. for priority seating, doors open to the general public at 5:45 p.m.
Reservations required. Complimentary for members, $10 for non-members. Valet included.

Members' Preview Day & Tour

Enjoy a member-exclusive viewing of The Scandinavian Home: Landscape and Lore, and experience the exhibition before the general public.
A curator-led tour will occur at 11 a.m. for members and guests of members.

An Evening Etched with Impact: The 2026 Taft Fundraising Gala
The Taft Museum of Art welcomed guests and supporters to the museum on May 1, 2026, to experience Black and White Bash: A Night at the Taft, a celebration and gala supporting the museum’s educational and outreach programs such as Art for All, Artists Reaching Classrooms, and Family Fundays.
