Let's Talk About Art

Select Saturdays | 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m.

Connect with fellow art lovers for meaningful conversations exploring a variety of topics inspired by works of art in the museum’s galleries, guided by museum educators. Each season introduces a new theme. This spring, we’ll focus on how tiny details can reveal big stories—examining subtle elements within artworks to uncover fresh insights and deeper meaning.

Mid-Winter Musical Performance

Delight in the artistic stylings of Queen City Klezmorim Band for an afternoon of music celebrating the season of winter.

Lunar New Year Tea

Friday, February 20 | Seatings at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Herald in the Lunar New Year at the Taft with a celebratory tea service! Honor the kickoff of a new year with a special selection of teas from Churchill’s Fine Teas, and delectable small bites inspired by the Our Family Kitchen Cookbook, prepared by the Taft Café.

$55 for Taft members, $65 for non-members. Registration includes admission to special exhibitions, including Teatime: Chinese Enamels from the Taft Collection, where you can see this coffee pot and more, and the museum’s collection galleries, plus access to the Museum Shop, where you can find an array of tea and tea accessories.

Queen City Table | Porkopolis

Friday, March 5 | 6–8 p.m.

Enjoy a four-course dining experience with local food historian Alan Wight, PhD. Dr. Wight will lead diners through the region's fascinating history that includes hog breeding, pork packing, and early industrial innovations. Learn more about the people, farms, and entrepreneurs behind the food systems that led Cincinnati to be crowned Porkopolis in the early 1800s.

This educational and cultural experience is inspired by Dr. Wight's recent publication, Cincinnati's Foodshed: An Art Atlas, an illustrated book which uses art, maps, infographics, and timelines to bring our city's past to life.
