Join the Taft Museum of Art and Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra for the 68th annual Chamber Music Series which is inspired by the art and history of the Taft Museum of Art. 

Recreating a sense of peace and well-being that comes with summer and views of the countryside, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra principal flutist Rebecca Andres welcomes the season with a performance of airy wind quintet music in the beautiful environs of the Taft Museum of Art’s historic garden! Enjoy repertoire that will have you transported and inspired by the sloping hills of Cincinnati with music by Gershwin, Beach, Still, Mozart and more in an afternoon of pastorales and other summertime selections. 

This is a FREE event! Due to the popularity of these concerts and new health and safety regulations, we have expanded on-site seating opportunities so more audiences can enjoy! Reservations are required for on-site tickets. Museum and special exhibition admission sold separately. Timed tickets are available in advance.

Chamber Music Series | 200 Years of the Historic Taft House

Join the Taft Museum of Art and Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra for the 68th annual Chamber Music Series which is inspired by the art and history of the Taft Museum of Art. 

Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra principal trumpeter Ashley Hall leads the CCO brass quintet in an afternoon of music celebrating the 200th birthday of the Taft historic house as they perform repertoire from composers including Cait Mishimura, Wolfgang Amadeux Mozart, Jean Bellen, William Grant Still, Zhou Tian and Alexander Arutunian.
