Mother's Day Workshop
12–2 p.m. | Ideal for All Ages
Celebrate Mother's Day and AAPI Heritage Month with a drop-in workshop hosted by local artist Yu Ling Huang. Inspired by the Chinese enamels in the Taft collection, create handmade cards that include motifs and designs!

Create & Play
Third Wednesdays, 10:15–11 a.m. | Ideal for Ages 2–5 with Caregiver
Move through the galleries with your young one while learning about art through guided activities and interactive games. Then get creative in the studio and make a masterpiece to take home.

Sensory Explorations
Select Sundays, 1–3 p.m. | Ideal for All Ages
Designed for individuals with sensory sensitivity as well as blind or low vision, Sensory Explorations allows you to use senses like touch and hearing to experience the museum's collection and exhibition gallery spaces with specially trained educators. Tools like 3D printed reproductions, fabric samples, and soundscapes offer a multi-sensory adventure at the Taft.
After exploring the galleries, create your own work of art during open studio time in the Dater Education Room and join special guests for additional sensory friendly activities.

year! These special days offer a new way to learn about art and history each time you visit. Music, art-making, and gallery engagements are sure to inspire young creators.
