Bring the whole family to the Taft Museum of Art on select third Sundays to explore, create, and play. These free afternoon programs offer great art, kid-sized art info, hands-on fun, and family-friendly performances. Most activities are ongoing, so drop in when you have time and stay as long as you like.
Sunday, July 20, 1-4 p.m.
The summer heats up with this south-of-the-border-inspired family Funday. Explore the Taft’s Top 10 in Spanish, learn some Spanish art words at the Art Cart, and create a Mexican mask to take home. At 2 p.m., enjoy a salsa dance performance and take a lesson with the Salsanatti Dance Company.
Sunday, August 17, 1-4 p.m.
It’s a Zoo in Here!
Things get wild when animals visit the Museum! Take a self-guided tour to find animals in art, experience the textures of different animals at the Art Cart, make a funny animal puppet, and get your face painted like an animal. At 2 p.m., see a live presentation of some animals from the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
