Wouldn’t You Like to Be a Docent, Too?
Know more, do more, and have more fun! The Museum is seeking applicants to join our corps of friendly and knowledgeable docents (volunteer teachers). Docents conduct tours and programs for both child and adult audiences. Trainees will attend weekly 3-hour sessions September to May, followed by a minimum 3-year volunteer commitment. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill assignments during the workday and occasional weekends or evenings. Previous experience with teaching or art desirable but not required. All trainees must have access to and ability to use email.
