Workshops and Classes
Be Italian! (or How to Live a Rich Life on a Limited Budget)
The Taft teams up with School AMICI, an Italian language school, for special classes in Italian language, culture, and heritage. History forced the Italians to learn how to be happy without a lot of money. Discover the secrets of la dolce vita—good food with family and friends, an appreciation for beauty and romance, and a leisurely coffee on the piazza in the late afternoon. Participants will receive a one-year individual membership to the Taft Museum of Art and a coupon for 10-percent savings on beginning Italian classes at School AMICI, where students learn Italian from Italians.
Classes take place at the Taft Museum of Art unless otherwise indicated.
