Summer Art Day Camp

Children can explore their creative sides this summer at the Taft Museum of Art. Each week offers fun, intensive studios looking at, thinking about, and creating art.

The week ends with an exhibition organized by campers and staff for family and friends. Instruction is provided by professional art teachers assisted by Museum staff and interns from local university art education programs.

For children entering grades 6-8: July 6-10 OR July 13-17

Explore portraiture, architecture, and pace in unique ways using varied materials.

High School Art Workshop for students going into grades 9-12: July 20-24.
Instructor: Penny Harris
Projects include glass blowing, clay fish, mixed-media landscapes, block printing, and acrylic silk painting.
