Program Description
Classroom: Discover the process of painted enamel, discuss the life of an apprentice in France in the 1500s, and explore the concepts and vocabulary used in enamel workshops.
Field Trip: View the Taft’s outstanding enamel collection and hear some of the Biblical stories and Greek myths illustrated on the objects.
Studio: Create your own coat of arms and use it to decorate your own “enamel.”
