High School Art Workshop

High school students can take photography to another level this summer, transforming old photos and new images into pop art, quilts, collages, mosaics, and more. Each week offers fun, intensive studios looking at, thinking about, and creating art inspired by the special exhibition TruthBeauty: Pictoralism and the Photograph as Art, 1845-1945. Campers will discover works of art through gallery tours and engage in hands-on art activities. The week culminates with an exhibition organized by campers and staff for family and friends. Instruction is provided by professional art teachers assisted by Museum staff and interns from local university art education programs.
