Free Sundays at the Taft

Beginning Sunday, May 9, the Taft’s free admission day changes from Wednesday to Sunday. Free Sundays are made possible by a grant from The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation.

Each Sunday the Taft will offer lunch in the Café, plus cookies and other treats available until 4 p.m. A variety of free programs will be available throughout the Museum including:

  • Docent-led “Highlights of the Taft” tours at 1:30 p.m.
  • Concerts, including Chamber Music and Taft Sessions
  • 3rd Sunday Fundays

Guests to the Museum, Café, and Shop can also enjoy free amenities such as parking, as well as find affordable, quality educational programs.

Free Sundays are a great time for families to visit the Taft. Along with self-guided tours just for children, the Museum will also offer children's labels in the permanent collection with kid-friendly descriptions of many of the artworks. The Taft offers a parents’ room, a kids menu in the Ca, and a garden perfect for little art lovers to expend their extra energy.
