Evening in the Garden

Each year, the Taft Museum of Art docents hold a party in the Museum’s garden where guests are treated to tables with elaborate themes, extraordinary decorations, and exquisite food. Proceeds from Evening and Day in the Garden fund the Museum’s education programs throughout the year.
This year, guests enjoyed casual fare from Jeff Thomas, a cash bar, and valet parking. Guests had the chance to view and purchase original artworks from 20 regional artists. The contributing artists, who work in oils, pastels, and ceramics, are Marcia Alscher, Wayne Bates, Oliver Debikey, Richard Crisler, Gary Gleason, Nancy Gollobin, M. Katherine Hurley, Ray Kleinhelter, Diane Kruer, Carol MacConnell, Susan Mahan, Robert Mullenix, Bruce Neville, Nancy Neville, José Nuñez, Pat Olding, Brenda Tarbell, Martha Weber, Trish Weeks, and Rebecca Weller.
