Day in Italy

Saturday, July 19, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This FREE Italian festival in the Taft garden offers fun for the whole family, with folk dancing, crafts, cultural displays, and music. Adults and children will delight in performances by the Cincinnati Opera, the Paul Wagner Band, My Nose Turns Red Theatre Company, and the Frisch Marionettes. Guests will also enjoy hands-on art activities and bocce ball games throughout the day. When you get hungry, delicious Italian food from the Mezzo Mezzo Social Club will be available for purchase at the festival and the Taft’s Lindner Family Café, featuring Madisono’s gelato, will be open, too.

Admission to the entire museum, including the special exhibition, Views from the Uffizi: Painting the Italian Landscape, is FREE on this day.

A Day in Italy is presented with support from Cincinnati’s Italian-American community, including the United Italian Society of Greater Cincinnati, San Antonio Church, Sons of Italy, travel agent Pola Girelli Harding, and the Fuscaldese Society.
