Say good-bye to summer with Hot Music—Cold Treats, a free ice cream social and concert with the Faux Frenchman on the front lawn of the Taft Museum of Art on Sunday, Aug. 24, from 1-3 p.m.

The Faux Frenchmen, featuring guitarists Brian Lovely and George Cunningham, Don Aren on double bass, and violinist Paul Patterson, will perform their special blend of eclectic jazz. The band draws inspiration from traditional gypsy music, 1930s European popular tunes, and the sounds of such American jazz icons as Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, and Louis Armstrong.

United Dairy Farmers will serve up free cups of Homemade Brand Ice Cream from the vintage Little Dipper ice cream truck. Some seating will be available, or you may bring a blanket to spread on the lawn.

No reservations are taken for this event. For information, call (513) 684-4515. Admission will be charged to visit the galleries.
