Join the Taft for an afternoon of quilts and hand-sewing during this workshop for homeschoolers. Learn about the history of handsewn quilts and how simple shapes and patterns can be turned into a work of art with a tour of Elegant Geometry. Terry Owen of Silk Road Textiles will teach basic hand-sewing skills to create a fun pillow.
