Cinco de Mayo with Madcap Puppets
Continue your Cinco de Mayo celebration at the Taft! Join the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for a day of art and fun. Madcap Puppets will offer two performances of Jack and the Gentle Giant at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Guests can tour the “Top 10” of the Taft collection en espanol and enjoy face painting and finger-puppet making. Refreshments will be available.

AFTA with Madcap Puppets
The Taft is proud to join with the Armed Forces Tickets Association (AFTA) to present a day of art-making, performances, and fun for area military families and Taft members. Madcap Puppets will perform Rumpelstiltskin at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Guests can also enjoy a scavenger hunt through the Taft’s permanent collection and visit the exhibition Old Masters to Impressionists: Three Centuries of French Painting from the Wadsworth Atheneum. This festive day also includes face painting, finger-puppet making, and refreshments.
